Howth Photographic Club's Summer Exhibition

“Spirit of Howth” Photography Competition 2014

 
Open to Juniors up to 16 years of age and Adults over 16
Photographs will be judged on the extent to which they reflect the “Spirit of Howth” in the widest sense of people, scenery,activities, culture or heritage. 

Photos can be black and white or colour ranging in size from 6”x 4” up to 12”x 8” 
1st €100 2nd €50 3rd €25 In Both the Adult and Junior sections
Send / deliver your entries (maximum 3 un-mounted photographs) to Sean Briody, c/o McDermott’s Pharmacy, Main Street, Howth with your name, address, phone number and the age category entered clearly printed on the back ( preferably on an adhesive Label ) to reach him no later than 5pm Fri 4th July Entry Fee to the Adult Section is €2 per entry or a maximum of 3 entries for €5. Prizes will be presented on Friday July 11th 2014 at 7pm in the Old Courthouse Harbour Road Howth. Entry to the Junior Section is Free

Due to the unforeseen circumstance of recent changes to the opening hours of Baldoyle Library the launch of our Autumn Exhibition has been changed from Wednesday 9th to Thursday 10th October at 6.45pm.

Entry to the Junior Section is Free
Members of the Howth Photographic Club are not eligible to enter. The decision of the Judging panel is final and binding on all entrants. Howth Photographic Club may at their sole discretion use the prints submitted to promote the aims of their Annual Exhibition and so it is not possible to guarantee the safe return of any entry. The submission of an entry to the "Spirit of Howth" competition is deemed to be an acceptance without reservation of the competition rules as stated above.
